Will is now 7 months old and in every way an absolute delight to all who know him. I am so thankful this season for such a healthy, happy, growing boy!
Stats:
At his 6 mo. check-up he was 17 lbs 3 oz and 26" long. That puts him in the 40th percentile. No giant growth spurts from 4 to 6 months.
He has been sitting up since mid-October.
He still hates being on his belly but is frequently putting himself there!
He is just this week starting to scoot backwards, so I suppose he'll figure out the forward moving soon.
Still no teeth! But the drool, runny nose and gnawing are still a part of his day.
He has been enjoying food but is not a big fan of jarred meat or ground up meat. In due time. His favorites are carrots, apples, pears and mixed vegetables...he"ll eat anything really, I'm pretty good at shoving it in! He eats cereal for breakfast but I think he knows it bland and gross and mushy. So we add jarred fruit or fresh bananas and he's happy.
He is still sleeping through the night with one long nap and one short nap during the day. We had a rough week 2 weeks ago while up at Zach's mom's. Every morning between 4 and 5 he would wake up. He had a fever of 104 and was a bit out of sorts for a day. So between the fever, not being home and sleeping in his pack n play I think he was just not sleeping well. We are all back to normal here though! Whew! I was not liking the early morning wake-up calls, a bit spoiled I suppose with such a good sleeper!

We celebrated Halloween with some fun costumes and dinner at my mom's. Thanksgiving has been celebrated at my Grandma Iverson's, at home with just us and my aunt Karen, and up in Isle this last Saturday with the Swenson clan. Will loves being around people and is fascinated with babies his age. Zach's cousin Chad has Addilyn who is just over a year and Will watched her go go go. It was so fun to watch him. I bet he can't wait to run with the big kids! He's got some big cousins to contend with...I hope he'll be able to hold his own!
